GERD releases her most personal album yet – and makes a comeback on Swedish stages

The Swedish musician GERD is preparing for a new and significant chapter with the upcoming album "More Water Than Anything," which will be released on September 25, 2026. The album is the result of a period of introspection and creative exploration, during which GERD retreated to a secluded island in Värmland. There, she drew inspiration from nature—dense forests, calm waters, and long Nordic nights. These impressions are evident in her songwriting, along with influences from folklore and Nordic beings, which shape both the soundscape and the lyrics.

On "More Water Than Anything," GERD unites electronic, organic, and orchestral elements without confining them to traditional frameworks.
