Marie Key Adds Extra Concert in April 2027 – New Spring Shows Announced in Copenhagen and Aarhus

Danish singer and songwriter Marie Key is experiencing overwhelming demand: after her April 9, 2027 concert quickly sold out, she has now added an extra show on April 10, 2027. The new concert date highlights the strong connection between Marie Key and her audience, while anticipation for her current live shows continues to build.

In addition to the extra date, Marie Key will hold three spring concerts in Copenhagen and Aarhus during April 2027. These performances follow eight sold-out shows at Hotel Cecil in autumn 2024 and mark the next step in her touring. The series underlines Marie Key’s growing influence within Danish pop and alternative music.

Strong Momentum and New Music on the Way

Marie Key is currently in the final phase of her tenth studio album, which is scheduled for release this autumn. Her musical work is characterized by honest lyrics about love, relationships, and life today. Her breakthrough came with the album De her dage from 2012, praised for its honest songwriting and narrative style.

In recent years Marie Key has developed her musical expression. In 2022, she released Lys Finale, a collaboration with jazz duo Bremer/McCoy featuring bassist Jonathan Bremer. The partnership continues on her upcoming album and has contributed to giving the music a more atmospheric and evocative feel, which has become a hallmark of her latest productions.

The live scene has always played an important role in Marie Key’s career.
