Hoffmaestro to Release First Entirely Swedish-Language Album, New Single, and Major Tour 2026–2027

After more than two decades at the top of the Swedish live music scene, Hoffmaestro remains as energetic and genre-defying as when they started out in Stockholm in 2005. Through their characteristic blend of captivating live performances, party atmosphere, and depth in their music, the band has carved out a unique position and built up a loyal audience that returns year after year. Now, they are taking another step in their evolution: a first full-length album entirely in Swedish, planned for release at the beginning of 2027.

In anticipation of the album, Hoffmaestro is presenting several new singles. The latest, “Borderline,” is being released today, September 4, 2026. Clearly inspired by '80s pop and yacht rock, it brings a fresh yet nostalgic feel to the band’s catalogue. The lyrics in “Borderline” depict the pull and intensity of a destructive yet irresistible relationship, where passion and attraction overshadow reason.

Through songs such as “Highway Man,” “Seize the Day,” “The Storm,” “Degen ska in,” and “Bacchanal (vem bryr sig om 200 år!?)” Hoffmaestro has amassed over 200 million streams and solidified their status as one of Sweden’s most beloved live bands. The band’s concerts are renowned for their explosive energy, audience involvement, and the camaraderie that arises between artist and crowd. This tradition forms the basis of their upcoming grand tour, where classic favorites will be woven together with the innovative Swedish-language material.

Extensive Tour in Sweden and Oslo

The tour opens on November 14, 2026 at Kulturhuset in Örebro, with more dates covering both fall 2026 and spring 2027. The tour includes several major Swedish cities and a special stop in Oslo. In the spring of 2027, a club tour is also planned – a format Hoffmaestro has not taken on in a long time – promising a more intense and intimate experience. According to the band, smaller venues create a special closeness to the audience and a unique energy that cannot be recreated elsewhere.
