After a year marked by her debut album Piratebae, a sold-out solo concert at Slaktkyrkan in Stockholm, and a summer of acclaimed performances, Yaeger is back with new music. Her new single “Elastic” is released ahead of the Seasick Tour, her first ever solo European tour.

The tour includes nine dates in Sweden and across Europe. It begins in Norrköping and continues through Lund and Gothenburg before moving on to London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Aarau, Copenhagen, and Berlin. The tour follows a period during which Yaeger has performed on bigger stages, including the Linné stage at Way Out West and as the opening act for Veronica Maggio at Stadion.

Finding Oneself Again

“Elastic” is about how far people can push their boundaries in a relationship and about rediscovering a sense of self after having been pushed far beyond the familiar. Yaeger describes the song as a depiction of how much a person can bend for love without breaking—and the almost euphoric realization of having made it through and regained one's own shape.

This sentiment captures the central tension of the song: closeness can mean letting someone pull you in different directions, while resilience is about discovering that the strain has not erased who you are. According to Yaeger, the feeling towards the next challenge also changes when you have survived such a period. The knowledge that you have managed pressure before can become a source of self-confidence.

The single continues the story established with Piratebae, which was released earlier this year according to the provided information. The album introduced a broader creative world around Yaeger, and “Elastic” develops it through a personal topic rather than marking a new direction. The release provides a new entry point to her music as she prepares to take it beyond Sweden.

Seasick Tour Dates:

  • 13 November — Arbis, Norrköping
  • 20 November — Mejeriet, Lund
  • 21 November — Pustervik, Gothenburg
  • 23 November — The Lower Third, London
  • 24 November — Paradiso, Amsterdam
  • 26 November — Le Botanique, Brussels
  • 27 November — Kiff, Aarau
  • 28 November — Vega, Copenhagen
  • 30 November — Kantin am Berghain, Berlin

Yaeger first gained attention with the EP Jaguar and has since worked with artists such as Icona Pop and toured with Zara Larsson. She has also been nominated for two Grammis awards and received Musikförläggarnas Pris for Breakthrough of the Year. Together, these milestones place the new single and tour within a career that has grown from a Swedish breakthrough towards a broader international audience.
