Slipknot Marks a New Era with the Release of the Single “Arsenal” and Accompanying Music Video
Slipknot is back with new music. The metal band has released the new single “Arsenal,” which has been accompanied by a music video.
“Arsenal” is Slipknot’s first completely new single in over three years, thus marking the beginning of a new chapter for the band. Exactly what awaits next, however, remains shrouded in mystery – in connection with the release, Slipknot has been notably sparing with information.
The band’s most recent studio album, The End, So Far, was released in 2022 and included the singles “The Dying Song (Time to Sing),” “Yen,” and “The Chapeltown Rag.”
In 2025, Slipknot also celebrated the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album with an extensive anniversary edition featuring demos, alternative mixes, and previously unreleased live material.
Now, attention turns to the future. With “Arsenal,” Slipknot has presented its first new material in several years – but whether the single is a standalone release or the first taste of a larger upcoming project remains to be seen.
