After their acclaimed debut album, Kallsup has now released their second studio album, "Alldeles för nära". The record is available on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud.
While debut albums often reflect a group's first steps, "Alldeles för nära" captures the driving energy that can emerge when a band is in constant motion. The album is permeated with warmth and togetherness, something the band themselves attribute to their "democratic fluidity" – a working method where differences and friction are transformed into a strong creative expression. This fundamental spirit of collaboration not only characterizes the music but also infects the band's intense live performances.
Kallsup's group dynamic is often described as crucial to their sound. The members emphasize the group's authenticity and how the interplay, both in the studio and on stage, is built on direct contact and genuine commitment. The band's philosophy – "always together, always forward" – is more than just a slogan; it runs like a red thread through both the creative process and their concerts.
