HÄ/DA, the hard-rock duo from Muurame and Kuopio, have released their debut album, Electric Knights Of Eternal Rock Fury. Singer Antti “DeeAa” Heikkinen and guitarist Juho “Hässi” Hämäläinen build the record around straightforward riffs and rhythms, with a melodic vocal approach supplying the hooks.
The musical direction continues that of their first release, the five-track EP (Almost) 20 Minutes Of Love, which arrived in spring 2025. AC/DC remain the principal influence: the instrumental writing favours directness over progressive complexity. The musicians acknowledge that debt while maintaining that they have developed a recognisable sound of their own.
The track list contains nine new songs and a cover of Cadillac, a song from early in Danko Jones’s career. Running for 33 minutes and 27 seconds, the record is described by its makers as a compact, feel-good release intended to lift the mood. They say its songs avoid dwelling on depression, war and the world’s troubles.
Three music videos have been made for the album. The latest accompanies the opening track, Three Sheets To The Wind, and is being released alongside the full-length. The recording is available through streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal and Qobuz.
The duo’s earlier EP and singles have received airplay on both FM and internet radio stations in the United States, France, Germany, England and Scotland.
The guitarist also plays in Dirty Deeds Indeed, a long-running Finnish tribute band to the Australian rock group, and the heavy-rock outfit Rane Rautiainen & Paha Kaksonen. The singer is also the vocalist and guitarist in Mosfite.
The pair’s shared musical history includes Brutaali Magneetti, a rock band based in Jyväskylä that was active in the late 1990s.
