The tour follows the release of Fike’s upcoming album How To Quit Smoking, which will be released on October 30, 2026. The album is available for pre-listening and pre-order on vinyl. Fike began writing and recording it during the North American leg of the Comedy Tragedy Parody tour, working on it when the tour schedule allowed – including in hotel rooms, on the tour bus, and backstage.

This way of working on the road directly ties the album to the tour: the songs and accompanying visuals were developed while Fike traveled and performed. The process reflects a period of music creation influenced by places and routines along the way, rather than a single fixed studio environment.

Fike first gained wider attention through a collection of homemade demo recordings he uploaded to SoundCloud. His music has since combined elements of hip hop and rock, and he has topped the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. Among his collaborations are projects with Paul McCartney, Justin Bieber, and Kenny Beats.

Alongside his music, Fike has worked as an actor in film and television. He portrayed Elliot in the second season of HBO's series Euphoria and appeared as Miles in Savannah Leaf's 2023 film Earth Mama. His film work also includes Little Death, a feature-length project directed by Jack Begert and produced by Darren Aronofsky.

Among Fike’s more recent releases are the album Sunburn from 2023, the self-produced project 14 Minutes, and the mixtape Rocket from 2025. The new album and the European tour dates continue a period in which Fike has alternated between recorded music, live performances, and acting roles. The Copenhagen concert places the tour halfway through its European leg.
