Roger Waters Presents LEGACY – A Pink Floyd Show will captivate the Danish audience in May 2027 with its innovative interpretation of the band's most influential era. The tour includes two exclusive concerts: at Aalborg Kultur & Kongres Center on 27 May 2027 and at Falkonersalen in Copenhagen on 28 May 2027. The concept is initiated and overseen by Roger Waters, but it is his son Harry Waters who brings it to the stage, adding a distinctive mark to LEGACY – a promising tribute to Pink Floyd’s artistry.
A New Legacy Led by Harry Waters
Roger Waters himself does not appear on stage, but his presence is felt throughout the production. Harry Waters, recognized musician and Roger's son, leads the band on B3 organ, piano, and vocals. His musical journey has been closely entwined with Pink Floyd since childhood – his voice can be heard for example on "Goodbye Blue Sky" from The Wall. For over fifteen years, he has toured the world as part of his father's Pink Floyd-inspired projects.
In this grand production, Harry Waters collaborates with Graham Broad on drums, a well-known touring partner of Roger Waters, as well as Clifton David Broadbridge, who fronts on vocals. Broadbridge was chosen after a highly competitive global audition, highlighting the production's ambition to find the right voice to do justice to Roger Waters' original contributions.
The band behind LEGACY consists of ten experienced musicians, carefully handpicked for their ability to interpret Pink Floyd's rich sonic world. Although not all members are publicly named in official materials, the group’s solid experience shapes both the technical and emotional depth of the concert experience.
LEGACY focuses on Pink Floyd’s so-called “golden age” of 1971–1979 – a period during which albums like The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall shaped the cultural landscape of prog rock and world music. The setlist is drawn from these milestones, and the production strives for an almost note-for-note reproduction of the originals, so that fans are met with both nostalgia and sonic perfection.
The show builds on Pink Floyd's tradition of creating grand visual concert experiences. The production team, led by Roger Waters, has developed high-resolution LED screens that display iconic images inspired by the band’s classic albums and stage shows. Together, they create a stage environment where music and visual elements unite in true Floyd fashion.
Harry Waters describes the project as very personal: continuing his father's legacy for new and old music lovers is both a way to honor the family tradition and make Pink Floyd’s powerful catalogue accessible to new generations. In interviews, Harry Waters has highlighted Animals as his favorite album and "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" as a standout concert moment, reflecting the deep bonds that run through the production.
Pink Floyd's influence remains significant worldwide. The group has sold over 250 million albums and, according to statistics from August 2026, had over 28 million monthly listeners on Spotify – more than sixty years after the band's founding.
The LEGACY tour is planned to cover over 100 concerts in North America and Europe during 2027 and is one of the most extensive Pink Floyd tributes ever. For Danish fans, the following dates are confirmed:
- 27 May 2027: Aalborg Kultur & Kongres Center
- 28 May 2027: Falkonersalen, Copenhagen
Roger Waters Presents LEGACY is a strong testament to Pink Floyd’s enduring power and the creative collaboration between generations of musicians committed to renewing and preserving a world-changing musical legacy.
