The energetic American trio almost monday, consisting of Dawson Daugherty, Cole Clisby, and Luke Fabry, are ready to light up the stage at Studie 2 in DR Koncerthuset in Copenhagen on February 4, 2027. This much-talked-about concert is part of their global “THANK GOD IT’S ALMOST MONDAY TOUR”, named after their latest album and known for showcasing the group’s engaging, dance-friendly soundscape combined with insightful lyrics.

almost monday took their first musical steps in San Diego, where the friends debuted live in a local surf shop already during high school. Their breakthrough came in 2020 with the infectious single “broken people”, which quickly established them as a prominent name on the alternative pop scene. In 2024, the band released their debut album DIVE, marking a creative leap and reaching an ever-growing audience. Notably, the single “can’t slow down” became a success, reaching number one on Billboard Alternative Airplay, while their headline tour attracted sold-out crowds in the USA, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

The trio have become familiar faces at some of the world’s largest festivals, including Lollapalooza, BottleRock, and Life is Beautiful. Their intense live performances have also led to opening slots for major acts such as AJR and The Driver Era, further broadening their impact and refining their sparkling live shows.

almost monday’s music blends shimmering pop melodies with guitar, synths, and disco rhythms. The lyrics touch on themes such as friendship, youthful doubts, late-night adventures, and the importance of seizing the moment. During the tour, audiences are treated to songs from both DIVE and the new album THANK GOD IT’S ALMOST MONDAY. Songs like “skinny dip” capture the feeling of spontaneous beach nights in San Diego, “superprism” pays tribute to moments of unexpected clarity, and “better late than never” is about daring to let go and live life to the fullest.

One of the band’s latest tracks, “french kids”, has its roots directly in the meeting between band and audience. During a memorable concert at Le Bikini in France, the trio saw how the audience fully immersed themselves in the music and put aside their mobile phones. The pure and direct connection became the emotional foundation for the song and highlights how live experiences drive their songwriting and musical development forward.

With their reunion with European fans in Copenhagen, almost monday aims to create the special sense of community that distinguishes both the band’s music and live performances. Their journey from intimate gigs to the global stage, grounded in strong releases and colorful stage experiences, makes them a trio that continues to engage audiences with authenticity, energy, and presence.
