About Popzine

Popzine is an independent digital music magazine covering music news, concerts, interviews, reviews and music photography – with editorial content in both Danish and English.

Popzine started in Sweden in spring 2026 and was quickly established in Denmark as well. In a short time the site has grown into an active home for music journalism, with a broad team of writers, reviewers, interviewers and photographers.

Today Popzine covers Danish and international music every day – from major artists and festivals to new names and smaller club shows.

Music without genre borders

Popzine is a broad music magazine. We cover pop, rock, metal, indie, electronic, hip-hop, R&B, country and much in between.

Genre or artist size does not decide what is worth covering. We want to write about an international star one moment and introduce a new Danish artist the next.

On Popzine you will find music news, interviews, album and concert reviews, features and extensive live coverage.

Strong live coverage

Live music is central to Popzine. We are building broad editorial live coverage – with writers and photographers on site in Denmark and beyond, from clubs to festivals and arenas.

The ambition is not only the biggest concerts. We want to document the live scene widely and make room for shows that otherwise receive limited attention.

Text and photography are two parts of the same story.

Local and international

Music knows no borders. That is why our editorial content is published in several languages, including English, so Danish and Nordic coverage can also reach an international audience.

An editorial team around music

Behind Popzine is a team of around twenty writers, reviewers, interviewers and photographers. Geographic reach helps us cover music where it happens – in Denmark and across Europe.

From Sweden to Denmark and Europe

Popzine started in Sweden but was built internationally from the start. After establishing in Finland and Denmark, expansion into more European markets continues.

The idea is that journalism produced locally should also be able to live internationally.

A growing readership

When Popzine opened in spring 2026, the goal was a modern and editorially strong music medium. The response came quickly – and growth has continued on the Danish market and beyond.

We are proud of the interest, but traffic numbers are not the goal in themselves. What matters is what they make possible: more concerts, more artists, more interviews and stronger music photography.
